|
GIS web services are increasingly being used to deliver up-to-date, authoritative information to desktop or web clients. For a comprehensive list of web services GEO's web services, see the Oregon GIS Community Gallery or the ArcGIS.com Oregon GIS Community group.
Ortho Aerial Imagery
Summary
High resolution (1/2 meter for 2005 and 2009, 1 meter for 2011) color aerial photography developed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP) and a multi-agency partnership coordinated by the Oregon Geospatial Enterprise Office. The imagery, collected during the summer of 2005, 2009, and 2011, can be viewed or downloaded from Oregon Imagery Explorer.
Projection
The imagery is available through the Oregon Imagery Explorer in WGS 1984 (EPSG Projection: 4326), but can be accessed in a variety of other common projections through the WMS service.

Administrative Boundaries
Summary:
The Oregon Administrative Boundaries service contains data on Oregon's city limits, urban growth boundaries (UGBs), and county boundaries.

Summary:
The Oregon Hydrography Framework service is a basemap containing the following datasets: water bodies, water courses, lakes, rivers, and HUC watershed boundaries (HUC 4-6).

Summary:
The statewide base map is intended to provide a simple, clear basemap for use in web mapping applications. Data included in this map service includes: administrative boundaries, roads, and hydrographic data.

Summary
This address locator service is a composite geocoder developed using Oregon transportation data, TIGER roads data, zip code tabulation areas (from US Census), and Oregon city limits. Address fields are: Street, City, Zipcode, and State.
