The Oregon Project Management Certification Program (OPMCP)
is designed to develop leaders in the project management field. This program is offered through the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) to all state and local government employees. The DAS Statewide Training Unit and other state agencies have combined efforts to develop this comprehensive certification program. There have been over 800 graduates of this program since its inception in 1998. With the complexity of work increasing, our time to complete projects decreasing, and public expectations rising, successful projects are, and will continue to be, the key to our future

The program offers a rare opportunity to build strong relationships with fellow project managers. The program is offered at various locations (in Salem & Portland). Classes of 24 students (groups) will attend classes and graduate together. Once the program is successfully completed, each student will receive the Oregon Project Management Associate (OPMA) certification and a certificate signed by the Governor.
